From 1st October 2020 the Club introduced a new payment system for training fees. This replaces the old token based system, and allows us to accept online payments. These payments contribute towards the costs of hiring the Stadium facilities and the operation of the Club. These fees represent excellent value compared with accessing the track and field facilities on an individual basis, and of course you get the benefit of our planned training sessions organised by our EA licensed coaches.
The Track and Field ‘training pass’
Athletes participating in T&F coached groups are required to purchase a ‘training pass’ for each month. This will allow an athlete to attend any number of planned training sessions for that calendar month, as organised by the T&F coach. The pass must be purchased in advance and will expire on the last day of the named month.
The Road Running ‘training pass’
Road Runners are required to purchase an annual training pass upon membership sign up/renewal. This will allow a Road Runner to attend any number of planned training sessions for the membership year as scheduled by the Road Running coach. This will include access to track sessions organised by the Road Running coach (up to one session per month per Road Running group).
How do I purchase a pass?
Current members can log on to the membership system and head to ‘Your Membership’ then the ‘Store Purchase’ option. You will see an option to purchase your pass. You can pay using a debit/credit card, or optionally via Apple Pay or Google Pay when using a mobile device. Please note that we cannot accept cash at this time. There are no automatic payments, so you will need to remember to purchase your pass on time.

You must make sure your membership is up to date if you wish to train with us. Details of how to sign in to the membership system to ensure your details are up to date are available here.
How much will it cost?
For Track and Field, for each one-monthly pass:
- Seniors (18+) – £15
- Juniors/Concessions – £12
- Tigers – £8
For Road Runners:
- Annual pass – £22.50
How do I use the pass?
Upon entry to the Stadium, T&F athletes should be ready to show your email receipt to the Club official reponsible for athlete registration. When training away from the Stadium, coaches will be able to check your pass status online on the register before the session starts. No training will be permitted without a valid pass. Athletes attending the Stadium will be able to purchase a single ‘on the day’ training pass (see below).
Who does this apply to?
This applies to all athletes training during scheduled sessions run by Bexley AC licensed coaches, whether using stadium facilities or not. This also covers Road Running groups running in or away from the Stadium. The training pass contributes to the overall operational costs of the club.
What if I don’t need a whole month’s T&F pass?
Purchasing a monthly pass is the easiest and most cost effective way for T&F athletes to train. A daily pass is available to purchase (using contactless debit/credit card) on the day of training, but this will require you to arrive early in case there is a queue. Please note we are not able to accept cash.
The cost of a single ‘on the day’ training pass is as follows:
- Tigers/Juniors/Concessions £3
- Seniors £3.50
- Non-members £5 (currently not available while numbers are restricted)
Why are we doing this?
The COVID-19 situation has meant that the Club has had to revise its procedures to ensure the safety of its members and to reduce the spread of the virus. The token system is not practical in the current environment due to the physical handling of tokens and the associated administration.
What if I want to combine Road Running with T&F?
For T&F athletes: Purchase of a monthly T&F training pass will entitle a T&F athlete to train with both T&F groups and a Road Running group.
For Road Runners: Road Runners may use the track and field facilities once per month when arranged by the Road Running coach. Beyond this, any additional use of the track and field facilities by a Road Runner (e.g. when training for Masters competition) must be pre-arranged with one of the Club’s T&F coaches, and upon purchase of the required T&F training pass.
I still have a supply of tokens – can I use these?
You may continue to use these until you run out, after which point you can purchase a training pass. We will provide a drop point where you can deposit your token upon entry to the Stadium. Road Runners should deposit tokens with the Road Running coach in a COVID-19 secure manner, eg. by dropping into a bag/box to minimise handling.
Can I still buy tokens?
No, these are being discontinued.
