Points Table 2026

This year I want to encourage attendance and inclusivity for everyone in the Bexley AC Road Runner community to shine and be recognised for their own personal achievements. Even just turning up for training with a positive attitude and/or taking part in events together.

To do this, I am going to keep a tally of attendance for Club sessions, events and parkruns – adding these up from January to October in a “league table”. On top of that there will be various bonus points awarded throughout the year for performance and achievements, so everyone has a chance to shine in 2026. I’ve put together a base table from all results submitted last year, but any queries can be addressed by appeal (VAR)!

This is where you come in. I’d like to have a “runner of the month” nominated for each group and we can share that with the monthly race results. It doesn’t have to be for racing, it can be encouragement in the team, attending an event, or just for bringing positivity whenever they wear that Bexley badge. This plaudit will come with some “bonus points” on the awards table – so if I can get you onboard with this throughout the year, we could see some surprise faces picking up an award in the 2026 Presentation Night, and some great stories to tell throughout the year.

Points system:

  • Training session attendance – 1 pt
  • Event attendance – 1 pt
  • Parkrun attendance – 1 pt

.….plus bonus points for:

  • 2025 to 2026 improvements
  • Runner of the month

(Improvements scores are based on last year’s race bests – runner of the month for each group – 5 pts)
