Early start to get to Parliament Hill. Course was muddy and lived up to its reputation as providing a testing course for cross country. Alex Ogilwy had another good run. Bexley had a fairly inexperienced team so hopefully the experience gained will help to achieve a stronger performance next year. Bexley’s team was made up of mainly Bexley AC club members, plus some who are not club members but had done well in the Bexley schools cross country recently and some who are members of other local clubs, Dartford Harriers and Cambridge Harriers.
Bexley came 29th team in the female team event and 28th in male team event out of all the London boroughs.
