Gold at the British Masters Indoor Champs for Imeta
Bexley AC’s Imeta Barauskiene triumphed at the British Masters Indoor Championships on the weekend of 18th/19th February coming home with 3 golds, in the W45 Category, in the High Jump jumping 1.48m; the Long Jump (4.53m); and the Triple Jump (9.96m).
The above added to her Gold at the British Masters Indoor Pentathlon Championship in Sheffield two weeks previously where she scored a points total of 3282.
Imeta has been one of our most successful Masters athletes in recent years with a PB in 2008 of 11.34 in the Triple Jump which is a Club Record ; a Long Jump of 5.44 in 2005 and a High Jump of 1.58m in 2007 – both Masters Club Records.
